Import Export Code (IEC) Registration

IEC , populated as Import Export Code is a mandatory number issued by DGFT. IEC number has to be obtained by any person who is importing or exporting any goods.

List of documents required for the registration / amendment , along with the Prescribed form (ANF-2A) (Aayaat Niryaat Form) properly filed.
  1. Demand Draft of Rs.250 evidencing payment of application fee in favor of the concerned Regional Office of DGFT. (Money can also be paid through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT).
  2. Certificate from the Banker of the applicant firm in the specified format. Photograph on the banker’s certificate should be attested by the banker of the applicant.
  3. Self certified copy of Permanent Account Number (PAN) issued by Income Tax Authorities.
  4. Two copies of passport size photographs of the applicant
  5. Covering Letter on your company's letter head for issue of new IEC Code Number.
  6. Declaration for the NRI Interest in the Firm
  7. Original Copy of the Landline Telephone Bill of the place of business
  8. Address Proof of Place of Business
    if self owned then copy of Electricity Bill / Property Tax Receipt / Sale Deed
    if rented then NOC from Landlord, Rent Agreement, Electricity Bill / Property Tax Receipt / Sale Deed of Landlord
  9. Authority Letter in the name of the executor.
  10. Self addressed envelope and stamp of Rs. 30.
  11. These documents may be kept secured in a file cover.

    For Proprietorship

  1. Identity Proof of Proprietor along with the copy of the Pan Card
  2. Photographs of Proprietor
  3. Address Proof of Proprietor.
    For Partnership
  1. Identity Proof of all Partners along with the copy of the Pan Card
  2. Photographs of all Partners
  3. Address Proof of all Partners
  4. PAN Card of Partnership Firm..
  5. Notarised Partnership Deed
     
  6. For Company
  1. Identity proof of all Directors along with the copy of the Pan Card
  2. Photographs of all Directors
  3. Address proof of all Directors
  4. PAN Card of the Company
  5. Memorandum & Articles of Association
  6. Certificate of Incorporation
  7. Board Resolution
